Nick is one cool cat! He is the calm in the storm (of his fellow cats!), who will sit or lie in the middle of chaos with cool composure. He willingly accepts petting and compliments. Fall is on the way - the humidity has gone down, the moon has a yellow glow, the spiders are building their webs. Do you have the urge to clean?
If you've been bitten by the fall cleaning bug, please remember that The Animal Shelter accepts clean, desireable goods at the Secondhand Tails Thrift Store! The store, located at 6500 McClellan Blvd, is a major source of financial support for the shelter and its animals. We needs donors as well as shoppers. The store is open from 10-3 Monday through Saturday, or there is a drop-off area outside.
Got extra aluminum cans? How about giving them to us? Recycling cans provides much needed cash for those critical shelter needs. The shelter is located at 1201 Parkwood Drive in Anniston and is open from 10-4 Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri and 12-3 on Saturday (please do not leave cans outside the gates if we are closed!).
