3/31 Update: We made it! Thanks to our supporters, we have enough donors to be in the $1,000 drawing ~ keep all fingers (& paws) crossed!

Update: We are 4 donors short of being entered into the drawing for $1,000. Spring is full of so many challenges - fleas and ticks, mosquitoes, and puppies & kittens pouring in. Have you got $10 you can spare this month? Our pups and kitties would sure appreciate it!! The deadline is March 31.


Help us in Razoo's MARCH GOODNESS contest! Razoo will award a top prize of $10,000 to the organization with the highest number of contributors during the month of March, with $3,000 to the runner-up. We are asking for the minimum donation of $10 from as many people as possible. If we get 10 voters, we are entered in a $1,000 drawing. 50 voters will enter us in a drawing for $2,000! Your $10 can go a very long way!

It's Chili Time!

Don't forget to join us this Saturday, February 21st at the Wingmen Motorcycle Club's Chili Cookoff! You can bring chili to be judged - or be a judge yourself! A $10 donation is all you need to participate.

Our tree won "Shoppers Favorite Christmas Tree from a Non-profit Organization"!! Thank you to everyone who voted. What a lovely holiday gift for the shelter and the animals!

Shelter+ Challenge Results

The results are in, and unfortunately The Animal Shelter did not manage to win any of the prizes in the Shelter+ Challenge. Even so, we are humbled by the extraordinary effort everyone put in, especially during the final week of voting. The Animal Shelter rose from #25 at the beginning of that week to #18 by the end! Whether you voted once or several times, we appreciate your efforts!

Vote for Our Christmas Tree!

Please remember to vote for our tree at Quintard Mall! Voting began Wednesday, November 19. It is easy. Every time you go to the mall you get a voting ticket at the Customer Service desk and write us down for your favorite.

The tree really stands out this year. Lydia, Penny and Kathleen did an excellent job!!!! We have many happy faces on the tree—they used pictures of dogs and cats that have been adopted.

Each vote gets us closer to a cash prize----which we all know we need so desperately. So vote often and tell everyone you know.
